Day Treatment

The day treatment Program is designed to provide support to those in early recovery who can benefit from a minimally restrictive, yet structured therapeutic daytime program. Day Treatment is made up of a combination of individual and group therapy, as well as family services. Groups consist of both therapy and educational groups. Lunch is served daily and is included in the program fee. The six week Day Treatment Program operates five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday), from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The outpatient program is an eight week, four night per week program. The groups are didactic, experiential and psycho educational. Groups are small in size, 8-10 clients.

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Clients Participate in educational and recovery groups focused on disease concepts, relapse prevention acceptance and denial, 12 step spirituality and mental health issues.

Depression and Anxiety Outpatient Program

The Depression/Anxiety program offers ongoing interactive and educational meetings addressing depression, anxiety and related issues that effect work performance, work relationships, social, family and medical consequences. This is a six-week program that is interactive and educational, covering the many forms of depression and anxiety.

This is more than just a support group, this is a therapeutic group than can communicate as needed with your physician or psychiatrist. Conducted by a State Qualified Therapist, we are able to work hand in hand with your Physician or Psychiatrist in creating a plan to suit your individual needs. As a full time staff members, therapist's are available to schedule private sessions as needed with clients.

Depression and/or anxiety many times play a role in our eating behaviors and choices. In addition to our Depression/Anxiety program, HealthCare Alternatives also offers separate counseling for nutrition by a licensed dietitian.
