The Facility
Fairwinds provides an attractive alternative to a hospital or hospital based program, while remaining cost efficient in comparison to other treatment alternatives. Thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated to create a gracious home-like setting, Fairwinds provides the ideal environment for healing. The grounds surrounding the facility provide a park-like setting and recreational areas including a pool.
Residential/Inpatient Treatment
Intensive Day Treatment
The Intensive Day Treatment Program provides an alternative level of care extending beyond what can be provided in a typical outpatient setting, but short of residential/inpatient round-the-clock care. Intensive Day treatment consists of eight hours of structured programming at Fairwinds.
Supportive Family Role
Both the Residential/Inpatient and the Intensive Day Treatment Programs emphasize a patient's functioning within the family unit. Families are asked to actively participate in family therapy and Multi-Family Groups.

Residential/Inpatient treatment is recommended when an individual encounters difficulties with family conflict, emotional distress, substance abuse, and/or eating disorders, and cannot be managed in the home. All patients who are admitted to Fairwinds Treatment Center will begin treatment in the inpatient level of treatment.
