Adult Programs at High Point

Our integrated approach to chemical dependency treatment encourages the adult patient to be an active participant in his or her treatment and invites the involvement of family member or significant others. A comprehensive evaluation identifies the appropriate level of care.

• Intensive assessment and observation to develop an individualized treatment plan
• Integrated systems to provide appropriate clinical transfer to the next level of care as necessary
• Family therapy
• Cognitive-behavioral, psychopharmacological, developmental, systemic, psycho educational and 12-step approaches to assist families and patients in achieving their goals for optimal functioning.
• Free aftercare program

Multi-Family Group at High Point

As the name implies, this is a therapy group, conducted by a clinician, for family members of anyone in treatment. It meets Wednesday's from 1PM to 3PM in the Administration building conference room.

It includes a description of our program including all levels of care, an explanation of the concept of the disease, as well as explaining our philosophy of treatment. It also introduces the codependency issues.
